System Design

GreenCare will design and propose a system that will meet your needs. We have qualified staff that can design a system from residential to commercial. We design the system to maximum and most efficient use. Using the highest quality components and materials available.
Controllers

GreenCare uses the most up-to-date controllers to fit your irrigation system needs.
Some features of the controllers we use:
Easily customized unit to desired number of stations
Large LCD display for simplified programming.  Easy to read for schedule review and entry
Three programs (A ,B, C) with multiple start times
Independent programming handles many different watering requirements
Choice of independent day scheduling options
Days of the week, odd/even or 31-day interval for maximum flexibility

Days of the week, odd/even or 31-day interval for maximum flexibility
Global water budget/seasonal adjustment
Easily change run time of all zones from 10% to 150%
Non volatile memory
Holds programs indefinitely; excellent insurance against unreliable power
Superior surge protection and self-diagnostic short circuit protection
Microcircuits are protected from electrical spikes, no fuses to worry about

Sprinkler Systems

The installation of an efficient sprinkler system begins with good design. The system must apply water uniformly over the desired area with head to head coverage. Choosing the appropriate sprinkler for a given area is important, but the location and spacing of sprinklers is equally important. Placing part-circle sprinklers along the boundaries of the irrigated area allows uniform watering along the edges while avoiding wasteful over spray onto buildings, paved areas, and other adjacent areas.

Proper spacing of sprinklers is critical in achieving uniform water application. Sprinklers spaced too far apart will waste water by applying too much water in some areas and not enough in others. On the other hand, spacing sprinklers closer than required increases the cost of the system and wastes water.

One other important aspect of proper design is pipe sizing. Selection of pipe sizes should be based on the flow rate through the pipe. If pipes are too small, excessive pressure losses occur. This causes some sprinklers to apply more water than others and results in non uniform application and wasted water.

Rain Sensors

GreenCare uses the wireless rain sensor to eliminate the appearance of wires connecting your controller.
Some features and benefits of the sensor are:
Hassle-free, wire-free with easy installation
Simple to add on to a new or existing installation
Set a maximum dry-out period
Multiple mounting options
Variety of choices depending on the job site - gutter or wall mounts
Built-in bypass switch on receiver panel
